The after Christmas sale is going fantastically well. I'm completely out of party sheep, almost out of all the dog and bird ornaments, and the Christmas dishes are quickly disappearing. It is taking all of me to not re-arrange the store - but there is no reason to re-arrange now, when I'm closing on Sunday to re-do the whole store. I can't wait to see how the new paint colors and trim look in the store. Plus, all of the new 'vintage' merchandise I've been saving for the grand re-opening!
Karryann has finished some fantastic upholstered chairs, plus she is so enthusiastic about joining me it has re-energized me too! Here's our plan for the week:
Wednesday - Closed to paint more furniture
Thursday - Store is open
Friday - Store is closed, celebrating New Years with the family.
Saturday - We load up to go to Alameda which will be a wonderful first adventure. I'll take pictures and share lots of info!
Sunday - Store closed for the new look!
I'll update the schedule next week - Happy New Years everyone!

Merry Christmas
It has been a very exciting month. I apologize for not keeping everyone updated but I didn't want to share news until things were finally nailed down. I am excited to announce that in January the Not Too Shabby team will be expanding to include Karryann Pallitto!
Karryann is amazingly talented with the paintbrush and the needle and I am so excited to have her join us and bring her fabulous vintage upholstered pieces, hand made aprons, and vintage furniture.
To make room for Karryann and her wonderful collection, I have everything in the store on sale at 30% off. Also, we will be closing Jan 3-Jan 8th for some RRR (Re-Freshen, Re-Furbish, and Re-Fluff) at the store.
I promise to be much more diligent at providing wonderful updates and pictures.
Merry Christmas to everyone!

Put up Christmas all around the store and it looks so festive. The large mercury glass ornaments are such a bargain at $15 each. The beautiful blue glass birds are priced right at $10.

The Christmas mats are wonderful, durable, and very colorful, I only have about 7 assorted prints.
All of the Holiday dishes are out and they look so beautiful. I have the Snowman and Nostalgic Santa line but my favorite is the Grace line of dishes. The white dishes, elegant pinecones, and gold trim make them my favorite.

Besides all the Christmas decorations, I've also been stocking up on gift items and trying to get everything to fit in the store has been fun.
I need to make sure I'm all set up for this weekend's Christmas Craft fair. It's one of our biggest events downtown and I usually sell out of most of the Christmas decorations.
