Cascade of Lights

I had fun creating this 'cascade of lights' for a great new look over our ASCP Paris Grey table.  So many of you asked how to do this look yourself so I thought I would provide a quick tutorial.

This is what you need:

Frame with a grid
5 packages of white Christmas lights          18-24 clear glass Christmas ornaments
2 Silver paper mache stars

First you need to hang the grid frame

Then hang the clear lights

Add the clear glass balls

It created a great look over all of our silver trees!
Another option would be to add colored bulbs in colors that accent your decore.

Inspiration Pt 2

With our Holiday Open House coming up (Sat & Sun Nov 12 &13), I'm going to need some fun ideas to create some wonderful holiday displays.  Here's some great Christmas ideas...

Love gold & white christmas decor....maybe add some burlap wrapped gifts and greenery...

This is such a wonderful display with an old window. perfect on top of a dresser or at the entryway...

How wonderfully imaginative these wings are...

Love the fun pink in this christmas scene.  I don't normally have a lot of pink in the store, I'll need to be pretty creative to pull this into the store.

Another fun Christmas look with shades of green.... this I can use!

Inspiration - Holiday Open House

We had such an exciting October with events planned every weekend.  Now, I need to re-group, get inspired, and plan for our Holiday Open House (Sat & Sun Nov 12-13).  Thought I would share some inspiration with you.  Let's take the fall decor ideas first.

Love this fall table, yes we are getting ready for Christmas but I love the fall and always plan a great Thanksgiving table scape at the store.  Mostly, I love the orange color featured at Pottery Barn...I'm going to have to figure out how to get this great color in my Thanksgiving display.

Love adding the chalkboard to the table...perfect to write an inspirational quote, menu, or even a simple welcome. (Pottery Barn Pic)

I think I have some great ideas now to inventory what is at the store and pull it all together.
